Tequesta and Jupiter are located on the Atlantic Ocean and the Loxahatchee River at the north end of Palm Beach County. Traveling south, the Gardens Mall is a ten minute drive and Palm Beach and Palm Beach International Airport may be reached in about thirty minutes.

Tequesta Realty, Inc. was co-founded by Claire Malone in 1959 soon after the incorporation of the Village of Tequesta in 1957. The founding of Tequesta Country Club Community, Tequesta Country Club, Turtle Creek Golf Club, and Turtle Creek residential community followed. The Jupiter Inlet Beach Colony and Waterway Beach were well on their way to being the lovely communities that they are today.

Tequesta Realty, Inc. is the longest surviving, privately owned real estate company in the area and has been located on Tequesta Drive since 1963. Deborah Malone Marchant joined the firm in 1973 as a partner and co-owner with Claire. Deborah became its broker and sole owner in 2004. Dee Dee McEntegart Milliken, Ila Mae Gocke, and Mary Ann Hankey are valued associates.
